Block 172 Lots 1-12

Strike it rich with a whole lot less effort! Prospectors once flocked to Alder Gulch for gold -- now you can claim your own piece of Virginia City history for a whole lot less effort. This 1.3-acre parcel sits in Montana's most storied ghost town, where the Wild West isn't just a memory -- it's your backyard. Accessed by an unmaintained two-track dirt street, the lots offer a quiet, off-the-grid retreat with sweeping views of the surrounding hills and ranges. Pitch a tent and camp beneath some of the darkest, most star-filled skies in the country -- camping is welcome for stays of up to two weeks at a time. Step out your tent and into a year-round playground.
